What is 14k rose gold / gold filled?

14k gold-filled metal has a layer of rose gold that is mechanically bonded with heat and pressure to base metal.  Gold-filled products are resistant to tarnishing because the outside layer gold and is thick enough to prevent oxidation of the inner material. 

What is 16k matte rose gold dipped?

It is a base metal that has been coated in the highest quality 16k gold and is then given a matte or brushed finish (not shiny). All 16k matte gold components are nickel free.
